Never thought I'd ask this but please, FULL VIEW. Red + .jpg format + compression = BUTT UGLY!!!

Sorry, this thing didn't go the way I wanted it to. I feel like I'm constantly fighting with it. It was so frustrating! I'm still not satisfied with this painting, even after doing a practice run. This time, it's the tree that bothers me the most. Atleast the field doesn't look like a shag rug anymore. Small consolation. Then, it wouldn't photograph right. Probably I used too much liquin because light kept finding ways to reflect off badly and my camera is too suseptable to shakiness. Grrrr.

Originally this was supposed to have more integration between the character and the painting, I was going to actually stick a cutout of the character onto the canvas. But obviously that won't work with oils so then I thought I'd just add her in digitally. But the photo of the painting is too blurry so it wouldn't mesh with the character the way I wanted it to. *sigh* Someday, I will come back and photograph this properly.
